St Nick arrived after Divine Liturgy and talked to the congregation about his life and good works. He brought all the adult children gold chocolate coins and all the children stockings filled with sweets, treats, and modern-day gold coins, prepared by the O Club members.

This year’s yolka was “St Nicholas Tells the Nativity Story.” The children spoke about St Nick’s life and the importance of the Nativity; they illustrated their part of the story, and their drawings were shown on a large TV for everyone to see.

The “O” Club also prepared a Lenten meal for everyone, so there was no meat.
